Young Theatre Makers
The programme includes …
- Participating in drama workshops
- Devising a play
- Performing the play in a range of schools and youth settings
- Leading workshops for other young people
- Professional practice training sessions
- Work experience placements and support with finding and applying for employment, education and training opportunities.
- Theatre trips
Whilst on the programme, participants will complete an enhanced DBS check and Emergency First Aid In The Workplace training.
The Young Theatre Makers programme uses drama to help participants ...

- Develop transferable skills
- Get job-ready
- Gain access to the arts industry
The programme is FREE, travel is reimbursed and lunch is provided. We don’t audition – everyone is welcome !
After the programme, participants can continue to join in skills-developing workshops, attend theatre trips, drop in for ongoing support and more.
Previous participants have gone on to:
- Gain employment
- Start apprenticeships
- Train at drama schools / attend university / study at college
- Work for London Bubble on participatory groups and bespoke projects
- Become professional actors

We are currently not recruiting for the Young Theatre Makers programme but hope to do so in the new year.

The dates for the next Young Theatre Makers programme are Thurs 1 Feb – Thurs 28 March.
Sessions will take place on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays, 1 – 5pm.
