At London Bubble Theatre, we are committed to making the arts more accessible for the next generation of industry leaders. Curtain Up is a series of FREE masterclasses and training sessions designed to help early-career artists upskill and navigate the behind-the-scenes workings of the creative sector.
Led by industry professionals, these sessions provide essential tools, insights, and connections to help you build a sustainable and successful artistic career. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your approach, the sessions offers practical guidance and expert mentorship to support your next steps.

Unlock your creative potential in our full-day workshop designed for artists at all stages! This workshop invites participants to dive deep into the world of funding opportunities. You’ll gain insights on how to elevate your artistic practice by navigating the application process, specifically focusing on Arts Council England.
You’ll leave the workshop with:
- A clearer understanding of the funding landscape and potential sources of support.
- Knowledge of the Arts Council England application process and the beginning of an application.
- Practical tips for effectively articulating and presenting your project ideas.
- Personalised feedback on your funding application drafts.
Hannah believes in the power of the arts to transform lives and communities. As CEO of Cayr Charity, Hannah brings creativity into healthcare and cultural spaces. With a background in Applied Theatre and experience across government and grassroots organisations, she helps artists and organisations to secure funding and grow, understanding the challenges from all angles. Hannah gets excited about perfecting a funding application and is eager to chat about creative projects, funding strategies, or how people can work together to make the arts sector stronger and more inclusive.

This is a transformative workshop designed for young entrepreneurs ready to build their brand rooted in purpose and authenticity. Together, we’ll explore how to craft a personal brand that feels true to who you are while developing the strategic tools to make your vision a reality.
Through actionable insights, creative exercises, and real-world examples, the attendees will learn to:
- Define their unique brand identity and communicate it with confidence.
- Align their personal values with strategic frameworks for lasting impact.
- Build a personal brand that stands out authentically in a crowded marketplace.
- Learn how to use (the free tool) Adobe Express to design business cards, call cards, and social media assets.
Teresa is a Brand Consultant and Creative Director with 16 years of experience, specialising in elevating brands in the sustainability and positive impact space. In 2023, she founded her own design agency, Ferrgood Studio to partner with businesses tackling environmental and social challenges. Teresa is also an active speaker, collaborating with brands like Adobe, Allbright, and D&AD through panels, workshops, and masterclasses
