For two days during the Easter Break, Bubble coordinated a Play in the Day for children in Southwark community to take part. Here’s what each group created:
DAY ONE: 6-8 YEAR OLDS
Our 6-8s came up with a beautiful story and soundscape of the Nigerian jungle, and shared a brave tale of hunter against the animals they were trying to catch. In the end, there was a great celebration for the victorious animals!
DAY 2: 9-11 YEAR OLDS
Taking a darker approach, our 9–11year olds created an evil theme park where two unexpected visitors were taken for a ride where the matter was life or death! Supported by a young set designer, who illustrated the entire theme park’s map, this performance had the audience watching in fear.
