We are currently working on a new piece of Theater called From Docks to Desktops. We have been creating pieces of drama based around transcripts of interviews with those who lived and worked around the docks years ago.We have been looking at jobs such as working the the biscuit factory, unloading the ships, packing together the wood and typing pools.  We have tried to think about what sounds would be around and what smells would be present at the time. We created individual machines, and then group machines to show long chains of processes.  We also have been working on whether we will use the recordings of the interviews or our own voices to relay to the interviews. Overall its coming together very nicely.
