Monday morning and it is the beginning of a new week filled with interviews, research gatherings with our volunteers and lunch!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting a Deptford resident who took me under his wing and introduced me to the community of Deptford. Assigned with a mission my helper sought shop owners who have traded in Deptford high street for over 20 years. Terry’s by Deptford Station is one such trader as is the fabric stall in front of Deptford Lounge. I met my helper yesterday (Sunday) when I was invitied to attend St Paul’s Church morning mass by Fr Paul. During their service I was invitied to speak to the congregation about From Docks to Desktops and ask for help connecting with the people of Deptford; and they did just that.
