From 2-6 June, Bubble will be celebrating Creativity and Wellbeing Week with a series of short and thoughtful events that focus on the role of theatre in engendering wellbeing.

At Bubble we believe in bringing people together to create, participate in and enjoy theatre. Through organising a programme of events for Creativity and Wellbeing Week, we hope to share our practice of creating theatre for social well being, and invite wider discussion on how to build social capital through both process and outcome.
All events are free but we ask you to let us know in advance if you'd like to join us.

The week’s programme includes:

Monday 2 June
Theatre as Connector - a Conversation
brings together representatives from London Bubble, Southwark Youth Offending Service and the Metropolitan Police to discuss how we connect and build social wellbeing through theatre.

Tuesday 3 June
Creativity and Wellbeing for children and their adults
is a conversation for those interested in the enjoyment andimportance of intergenerational creativity.

Wednesday 4 June
Ishbel and I

Thursday 5 June
Creativity,wellbeing and the urban playground
is a panel led discussion that explores how current artistic practice sits in a public or civic context, and its benefits on social and personal wellbeing. Chaired by Jocelyn Cunningham and including contributions from Paul Heritage (People, Palaces, Projects), Justine Kenyan (Wandsworth Council)and Jonathan Petherbridge (London Bubble) the session looks at the politics and mechanics of making such work.

Friday 6 June
Making is connecting
